For the better part of four years now, Destee-Nation has been logging mile after endless mile in search of the t-shirts and stories you see in our stores. This has been no small feat. T-shirts like these just don’t jump onto the shelves—they have to be stalked and hunted with a dogged persistence that only a man with a mission can muster. We’ve spent years sleeping in motels with one eye open, making illegal u-turns and poking our noses into dark places for one purpose: to celebrate the little guy and keep its name on the tip of your tongue and across your breast plate.
But now, the time has come to hand the tattered map to one man - me, Gabe Johnson, a new generation of t-shirt scout; one schooled by the masters but with his own sweet tooth for the places and stories that make you want to put your life on hold for a few days and hit the open road. For all the true fans of Destee-Nation, rest easy, our old salts will still hit the road on strategic missions, when the places are strange and the t-shirts prove hard to get. But I’m your guy now and I want you to know that the Destee-Nation dream is alive and well, and the t-shirts are on their way.
