With over 15 beers on tap, a few nitros among them, and a nicely appointed wine list, the 74th St. Ale House offers a fine selection of quality buzzes. The menu features several unique items like the baked goat cheese salad and the black bean pita burger with some old stand-bys thrown in for good measure: great burgers, excellent caesar salads and tasty gumbo. But the specials are the real draw--they're always yummy. Seating in this smoke-free joint is first-come first-served, and the place fills up quickly almost every night of the week.
