The Paris of Ballard, Hazlewood Cocktail Lounge can be found on Market Street nestled in between a nail salon and a tattoo parlor.
Built as an homage to Lee Hazlewood (60’s Singer songwriter who wrote “These boots are made for walking”) The aesthetic direction was based on the imagined bar where Lee Hazlewood and Vincent Price would meet for drinks. European in scale and size, the downstairs bar and upstairs sitting room seem too small to entertain the many uses that its patrons impose upon it. While the downstairs is essentially standing room only, the upstairs is perfect for “Men of leisure to meet their mistresses and women of means to seduce their pool boys, or vice versa.” Drew Church (owner , bartender, witch doctor and host extraordinaire)
