The loyal patrons of Fremont’s “Fabulous Buckaroo,” a neighborhood tavern in the truest sense of the word, will argue its merits, over endless rounds of brew, until dawn if you chose to provoke the discussion. Bikers, neighbors, “young punks” and your average Joes all swill beers and shoot pool together every night of the week. Large wooden booths, with eons worth of etched-in graffiti, surround the pool tables and weathered pinball machines, making it the ideal place to get up in everyone else’s business. Seattlites feel lucky that a place like the Buckaroo is still buckin’ after almost 70 years.
