Before the last train rolled out of the depot in 1935, this tiny town was a bustling tourist attraction for Bay Area travelers and home to lumberjacks and railroad workers. Now with a population under 200, this quaint little township offers a unique stop on the way to the coast. Established way back in 1877, this landmark general store still manages to provide tourists and locals with all the essentials for small town living.
