Founded in 1850 by Henry and Elizabeth Greenwell, this family farm has set the standard of excellence in coffee production on the Kona Coast for almost 160 years. Honoring their ancestral traditions, the modern-day Greenwells continue to operate and grow with the same time-honored integrity and care for the land. With a history like theirs, it's no wonder the Greenwell Farms tour is one of the best on the island. Start with a guided walk through the coffee fields, see pulp raking (an age-old sun drying method) in action, and witness the complete process from cherry to the cup. Best of all, you can taste everything and visit their gift shop to take home whatever floats your boat.
