Lish Jens and her late husband John opened their doors over three decades ago, and the spirit of Aloha is still apparent the minute you walk in Kealakekua’s Grass Shack. Lauhala baskets, Kona coffee, ukuleles, pahu drums and nose flutes are among the many finds in this charming destination. The shop also features a wonderful selection of local wood crafts including bowls, boxes, leis and other collectibles as well as paintings, books and toys. It’s a quality souvenir shopper’s paradise.
