When the Keei Café moved "up mauka," this once small café with plastic lawn chairs and outstanding food evolved into a beautifully decorated, fine-dining establishment with a cult-like following. A breathtaking display of koa wood artwork adorns practically every surface of the open-air dining room, which looks out over the entire Kona Coast. But enough about the atmosphere--it's the food that really steals the show here. The freshest fish and produce, perfectly al dente pastas and delectable fusion sauces stand out on the menu, while the wine list offers many unique and carefully chosen accompaniments. Regulars know to make a reservation, but most won't hesitate to wait for a table. It's worth it.
