After immigrating from Denmark in the 90s, this husband and wife team opened their American café, with a decidedly Scandinavian sensibility, to instant success. Complete with all the customary diner standards, like Omelets and Hot Cakes and Club Sandwiches and Burgers, the menu also features a host of Danish specialties like pickled and curried herring, meatballs and pickled vegetables. Try their smorgasbord platter for two featuring herring, smoked salmon, roast beef, meatballs and cheese--a true Danish breakfast! Pull up a seat at the old-fashioned bar or grab a booth, and don't forget your appetite. Portions are large, service is friendly, and everyone leaves with a smile.
