As the first restaurant in Scottsdale, this renowned eatery is not only a beloved local hangout, it's also a National Historic Landmark. A veritable shrine to baseball and a major hangout during Spring Training, Sports Illustrated called the Pony, "the most famous baseball bar in the civilized world." All the old greats of the game--think Joe DiMaggio, Willie Mays, Roger Hornsby--spent countless evenings in these dark booths, and the walls are covered with the paraphernalia to prove it. Known for their 28oz. prime rib, meals are served with a basket of crackers, an iceberg salad and a whole lotta down-home hospitality.
