A Fremont institution for over 15 years, the Red Door managed to move down the street, open a full-bar, patio and kid-friendly dining area and not lose the appeal and charm of the cozy, old alehouse by the bridge. Great, local microbrews on tap and stellar pub food prevail here, but don't miss the beer-steamed clams and fresh salads. It's happy hour from 3-7pm daily, and the kitchen's open 'til midnight for a late night bite.
