Since way back in 1937, the tiny town of Monte Rio has been livin’ it up and keepin’ it real at the beloved Pink Elephant. Recently under new management, this roadside tavern right off the Bohemian Highway now boasts live music four nights a week and a new menu featuring homemade pizza. The diverse crowd of locals, adventurers and tourists that gathers here keep the jukebox rocking and the pool games rolling late into nearly every night of the week. Just outside the flood zone and down the way from the illustrious Bohemian Grove, this watering hole is a true taste of age-old Sonoma County culture, and you won’t want to miss it.
