Teshima's Restaurant Baseball Hat
Open since 1929, Shizuko Teshima may well be the oldest, most well respected restauranteur in Kona. Locals line up for a traditional Japanese breakfast (soup, fish and rice) or a delectable omelet; come back at lunch for her legendary shrimp tempura and addictive sukiyaki; and again at dinner for a teishoku trays, featuring miso, sashimi, sukiyaki, shrimp, pickles and more. A full bar with additional seating is home to many regulars who stop by nightly to talk story and catch a game on TV.
